Consultations take place via Zoom. After you have booked and paid for a consultation, you will automatically receive an email with the link to our Zoom meeting. If you cannot find the email, please email me directly and I will assist you.

If you’d like a recording of our session, I will always offer you this option at the beginning of our meeting.

I begin most consultations with a brief meditation or moment of silence (3-4 minutes) to mark the sacred container we are about to enter. If a client wishes not to do this, simply let me know and we can skip this.

In each consultation, my goal is to illuminate the astrological symbolism that speaks most clearly in your natal chart. In order to do so, I typically ask you questions to begin. What are you hoping to get out of this? How can I best support you? What is most joyful or challenging in your life at this time?

I always strive to create a supportive, non-judgmental, and reflective environment where you feel comfortable to be yourself and address whatever is on your mind. Together, we pull on the thematic threads in your chart and aim to illuminate symbols, archetypes, and metaphors that resonate in your life. At the same time, I always strive to incorporate practical wisdom and concrete ways you can engage with and apply astrological symbolism in whatever life is bringing you.

It’s my hope, through this exercise, that you are brought into deeper connection with the wonder of our ensouled cosmos.

I am trained in Hellenistic Astrology, which is the original form of horoscopic astrology. I chose to train in Hellenistic Astrology because it provides the most comprehensive rationale behind astrological technique and philosophy. All modern forms of horoscopic astrology are rooted in the Hellenistic tradition. However, I am influenced by and incorporate a number of modern teachings in the lineage of archetypal and psychological astrology.

I will not offer reflections on anyone’s chart who has not consented or is not present. I will not give insight into death or length of life questions. I will never frame anything in our session as “definitive” because 1) I believe astrology is a symbolic language, 2) I believe it’s most impactful and honest to co-create meaning with my clients, and 3) the truth and beauty of our lives is nobody knows anything definitively, mystery permeates reality. I am more interested in how we may surrender to and live creatively within the mystery.

I am a graduate of Chris Brennan’s Hellenistic Astrology program, a comprehensive curriculum that delves into the history, philosophy, and techniques of ancient astrology.

Additionally, I’m always striving to deepen my studies and knowledge. I’m currently enrolled in a three year program at Adam Elenbaas’ Nightlight Astrology school, where I am immersed in the teachings of ancient astrology weekly. For my own part, I’m a very curious person and like to know the “why” behind anything that interests me. This has led me to countless hours of reading and self-initiated study of astrology and its underlying philosophy.

Some astrologers and philosophers, recent and ancient, who have been most influential to me are: Geoffrey Cornelius, Richard Tarnas, Liz Greene, Demetra George, Dane Rhudyar, Reinhold Ebertin, John Frawley, Vettius Valens, Plato, and many more.

In addition to my certification in Hellenistic Astrology, I also completed a certificate program in “Soul-Centered Psychology” with Bonnie Bright, PhD, through her Institute for Soul-Centered Psychology and Coaching.

Lastly, to give you a sense of who I am: I’m a very curious person and am never more fulfilled than when I’m learning something that interests me. I have a love for poetry, the natural world, animals, woodworking, basketball, and gardening. I’m a father to two incredible boys and my wife and I have dreams to one day exit the city, build our own home, and farm our land.

Yes, I will never share anything from our session with anyone. In the event I would like to use your chart for teaching or lecture purposes, I will always ask for permission in advance.

You must notify me by email at least 48 hours in advance in order to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Failure to do so will result in no refund. The reason for this is that I spend significant time looking at your chart and intake form prior to each consultation.

If you fail to show up for your allotted time there will be no refund. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your session and do not communicate with me via email to let me know you are running late, this will be considered a no-show and no refund will be issued. All I ask is that you communicate with me to inform me if you will be 15 minutes late or more and I will be happy to work with/accommodate your timing as best I can.
